I was just thinking that fairgrounds where they set up the upside-down rides would be great!

There you go. We have a couple acres here that a carnival sets up every year for several weeks. I am not a coin hunter but the guys that hunt that place do very well on clad and the odd ring or necklace so fair grounds sound like a good plan to me

Go Up Go Down

As I said before I am not a big coin shooter, but I do hunt the beach mostly in the water. I do have one place I hunt a couple of times a week during tourist season. A few blocks from my house there is a very popular free beach that family's  like. There is a asphalt slab where a ice cream truck  parks daily in summer and week ends the rest of the year that is surrounded by soft sand. The 15x20 sq.ft of sand gives up from 2 dollars to 25 dollars a week along with 1 or 2 gold rings and several silver ring a year. Once I found a cheap money clip with 27 bucks in it have also dug several chains one nice 14k one.
Anyway if you know of a place that a sandwich or snow cone truck parks regularly put it on your list.

My first spot was my local library.  Got two reference books that helped point me in the right direction!

Best of luck!

Thomas
