Its it best to do long slow sweeps or fast ??
Does it depend on the detector
Going to buy a Euro Ace

Experiment for yourself on the sweep speed. Just put a coin down and sweep at a variety of speeds while raising the coil each time by a fraction of an inch. Wave it fast,then slow and see if it makes a difference in how far away you can be and still detect the coin. This will translate into depth for you in the field.

Too slow, and you get no signal. Too fast and you get a reading that may not be accurate. Bear in mind that not all detectors are motion detectors and your results might vary because of that.
