As promised earlier, I will now reveal the geophysical instrument we call the LMF(lost mine finder). This is purely a geophysical detector, much like a magnetometer, that detects anomalies from a distance. This is not a dowsing device, but strictly a geophysical instrument. It is about the size of a Walkman radio, and extremely sensitive to magnetic anomalies. We have detected the copper deposit of the United Verde mine from a distance of six (6) miles. We have detected and found quartz outcrops, and prospects, and mines from as far away as 1 1/2 miles. As long as you are physically south of an anomaly, the LMF will detect until you progress north of the area, and then the instrument will no longer give a clear bearing, but the needle will begin to indicate wide variations of location. If you are directly north of an anomaly the LMF will not point at the deposit as before. We have tested this little detector for quite sometime, and we are well pleased with the results. It is not an object that we will sell, but rather we hope to find or help others to find new or lost precious metal deposits. I live in north central Arizona, and if anyone close by wishes to hunt for something they know about, they may contact me by email.
Bill

Can you tell me what physics principal this LMF is supposed to be based on and how it works?

Steve

Hey Bill....Sounds like your on to something. My experiments show that the natural signals from objects are strongest in the 4 cardinal directions. I can not measure how strong they are with my rods. I thought it was my choice to work from an east-west line but now that you have made me think about it, it may be that I knew I should be south of the objects. Thanks for keeping us thinking....Art

This has absolutely nothing to do with dowsing, or dowsing type instruments. It works exactly like a magnetometer, in fact it is a small, hand-held magnetometer, that we have been able to apply to far distant signals. The reason for the north, south orientation is that the indicator is a magnetic needle. The needle will not indicate the anomaly if we are north of the anomaly. It will swing from side to side approximately 35 to 45 degrees. If we are anywhere south of the anomaly, the LMF will point directly at it.

Steve,
As far as I know, we are the only ones not connected to any geophysical science group that has this technology. I stated earlier that we don't want to build these to sell. We just want to search for ourselves, and  for those people that might have specific areas that they have knowledge of.

Sounds very intereting your piece of equipment that you have there Bill. I live in CA. I would be glad to drive to your place and check it out. I have several places where I can take you to find the treasure for me. How much do you charge/for days, hours or how do you do your busines?

Goldminer, How far are you away from Phoenix,Arizona.I may be  visiting in Kearny,Arizona,  not far from Phoenix in April and would enjoy meeting you and see your machine in action.Drop me  a line. Thanks,Norm Marsh

I know Bill and he is not the inventor but trying to cash in on it. A friend of mine has converted the original device to electronics and I have tested it. It is not a magnetometer but detects subtle anomalies in the magnetic field of the earth. Possibly teleric (sp) currents which are second order magnetic stresses. Physics is pretty advanced. I checked out the original device and it detected the Bisbee copper mine at about 15 miles and detected the Tombstone mine area at about the same distance. The device does work. My background is physics, math, and electronics degrees.
