I disagree with you Dr.detector. The problem is no one is bashing you. It seems we all live in our own little world. And it's only when someone does something to you , then you speak up. But as long as it happens to everyone else it make no difference to you. If you want to cry, then cry.

This site stood up for harrassment from one person whom uses many false names. Because it is wrong! If Sam wants to post here, he can freely but with respect to others. But it seems he cannot do that. Every place on this planet has rules.

Why don't you go out and rob a bank and see what happens to you. Now because this site decided to make a stand against online harassment, Christain and this site are in Sams hit list. "like that is a problem". So tell me detector why the post about freedom of speech? Did someone delete your post? I can see your post so I know it was not deleted. But what happened to you? Did someone get to close to your little world? You sound like Sam crying on google because he can't post anywhere else because he does not know how to post with respect to others! No one will have him!

Let me tell you something. There are sites that you can go to and see all the rapist and child molestors in your area address and all , pictures the works! Surly you must also be upset that people would post where they live and what they do  right! No if someone brakes the law, others have a right to know! Sam has been bashing people at will for the last 5 years or more under different names. Tnet did not have the guts to stand up to him, but this site did.

So you see people that come to post on this site and find they are getting bashed from someone that never met or know for that matter should have a right to know who they are. Why do you think he uses remailers? Because of the spam? Right and 6 monkey just flew out my a$$ with red coats and hats! Shocked

Anyone can post here as long as they respect others! I AM AN AMERICAN AND DAM PROUD OF IT! Harassment is harassment in any language and should not be allowed to take place on public forum for any reason shape or form!

If it took Christain from another country to take a stand to stop it for his posters, then so be it.

     Great post!  Long range detecting has been debated as long as I have been reading about it on the net.  On Christian's old site, TTHN, the forum with the most use was the one discussing long range equipment.  There were even more heated arguments then than now.  I learned more about arguing than I did about treasure hunting.  
     Indeed there have been many treasures found using a long range detecting device.  A few find treasure finds have been discussed on the internet even though a person finding a nice cache should keep quiet for obvious reasons.  Telling of a nice find did not change the attitudes of the folks who hated long distance as method of detection.  
     I think being skeptical is a healthy attitude.  Being an antagonistic skeptic that goes beyond a doubting or "show me" orientation to attacking others with an opposite view with some sort of zeal bordering on the ridiculous is not beneficial to anyone.  The antagonistic skeptic often  justifies him/herself by claiming they are saving the unwary  innocents against themselves.  I think adults should have the right to make their own decisions and mistakes if they wish without the self justifying zealots protecting them without permission.
    I am glad Christian included a board for discussing long range detecting and dowsing. Bill is a an old TTHN warrior that understands moderation and certainly allows free speech.  It is my understanding that Sam or any of the many other names he posts under is welcome if he could temper his antagonistic skeptic attitude and allow others to make their own decisions without constant bombardment of negative arguments that go nowhere.

That old forum still remains my favorite of all time. It's been years, but I still remember the old pulp fiction style treasure hunting story with the old airplane that Sam posted where he used all the forum posters as characters. He could be annoying, but he could be clever like a fox, too. Sue

Hello Sue,

now that you mention the airplance story it rings a bell with me! I should dig amonts my old backups and I'm sure it still could be somewhere! Fromw hat I remember it was an excellent read!

I am in the end very sorry to see what has happened to Sam. Sam behaved very hostile towards me and my website eventhough I can not understand what I may have done wrong. I am very sorry for that as I had remembered Sam as a very sharp and kind person. But now he seems to be possesed with bashing other people which I'm sorry for.
