As long as we are posting a listing of over-priced scam do-nothing "black-box" dowsing contraptions; let's not forget these.

Why don't you prove to everyone that your Omnitron contraptions actually do more than an ordinary 25-cent piece of bent wire.

Why don't you show everyone why your contraptions are worth the hundreds of dollars you are charging for them.

Why don't you demonstrate how your contraptions do more than just an L-shaped dowsing wire, by taking the Randi or Moreland test, and taking their money.

If you can't do any of those things --then the terms I used are appropriate and are accurate.

The Randi, test is meaningless.

The true test of a product is customer satisfaction.   Dell

The Randi test (or the C. Moreland test) is only deemed meaningless by those who already know the limitations of their dowsing contraptions; and wish not to take the test and expose the limitations of their scam contraptions to the entire world.

The true test of a product's merit, and or specifications, is not measured by customer feedback.  Especially if you are basing the level of satisfaction on the absence of negative feedback.  Lots of individuals, after learning they have been scammed, will simply throw the contraption away, put it in the closet and forget about it, and NEVER bother to report to you in the form of negative feedback.

I'm sorry to report to you, but the true test of a product's merit, worth and claims --can ONLY be accomplished through meaningful testing procedures.  In the case of your dowsing contraption products, the Randi (or Moreland) tests ARE meaningful, simply because you CANNOT pass them without demonstrating results that are significantly better than Chance.

You already know your products can't produce results better than Chance, and thus want nothing to do with that sort of testing.

I don't blame you... if I was selling a dowsing contraption for that kind of money, I'd avoid that kind of testing at ALL costs.  I'd also belittle it, and hope it would go away.

Chris,
Have you tried the equipment you mentioned above?  Apparently,  Dell has customers who are happy with the detectors.  I don't think badgering people about a Randi test or a Carl Morland test proves anything.  Who cares about their "tests" if you are finding good things?

Yes.

You are making a rash assumption.  However, if they are really happy, then they have more money than brains, and would also be happy throwing their money off a cliff, or buying a 25-cent piece of bent wire for $695.

BTW, you didn't say how Jim was doing.

Dell uses his own name, unlike a certain poster who made  dowsing rods of ebony and brass, published a silly test, and wouldn't practice what he preaches about coat hangars and black boxes.

If you go by a "pen" name Dan Dequille, or Dowser501 goes by his "pen" name, or any of us use a "pen" name of choice; -- does that act, in and of itself, somehow make Dell's dowsing contraptions worth his asking price?

If it does, please explain how it does.

Near as I can tell, Dell's dowsing contraptions are still a couple of bent wires and a little "black" box of do-nothing electronic parts.  Hardly something that could be considered worth nearly $1000; especially in light of the fact there is NOTHING in the way of physical proof (or data) to suggest the "black box" is doing anything but "making the dowser feel good", in exchange for his money.

If someone offered to sell you a "treasure-finder" and it consisted of a coat-hanger and a pill-bottle containing an integrated circuit (which wasn't connected to anything), for the one time good deal of only $2500 ---wouldn't it be just good common sense to question why those two pieces of worthless crap would be worth more than perhaps 25-cents (50-cents at the most)?

And, as a treasure finder, it would have the same success rate as a needle and thread or a willow switch.

Huh?

I am just trying to state, Sam, that the pot shouldn't call the kettle black.  I don't know why some of you guys hammer away at Dell when it is none of your business what he does or doesn't do.
