Does MFD make mistake? Perhaps they do.
But if there is a good target, it is very difficult to miss it. Wink

Hi Guys,

I've received some slack about your remarks on LRL's being useless. I guess some believe in those devices and some don't. Personally I've used a fitzgerald machine and came away disappointed by it.

I had a gentleman come down from Colorado once to show me his new device for LRL and almost had me convinced it worked, almost.

After taking him to two known gold mines and the site of a not so well known buried treasure down by the Mexican Border I was not impressed! After he left I discovered some small powerful magnets where he was laying the gold on the ground which any gravity mag would pick up for a few hundred feet. Later I discovered if you put those magnets anywhere near a magnatometer's sensitive antenna it wipes out the sensor which is what happened to my GEM's Runabout when I accidentally ran my antenna over one of the magnets he left on the ground losing a $2300 antenna!

Moral of the story: Don't put your trust in an unknown person that shows you how something works without strict guidelines that you set up for testing their device to your own conclusions.

Carl Moreland can give you advice about how to test these devices before buying.

Wyatt
