Go Up Go Down

I like to use the box method and it works fine. But I also walk around the marked target to see if there are anyother lines comming off to something else. If there is, I will mark all then check check each one.

Most of the time there is only one target. A couple of times I did have a line going on and ended at another place. The first one turned out to be a 25 cent silver and the other a silver ring.

This past week a customer found a half of a very old locket with gold leaf overlay. He was at an old foundation where a house used to stand.

If you have a method of using a pendalum over the target area please share the how too's. I wanted to try and see if it will help on very small targets like rings and coins.

Tim

Go Up Go Down

Most of the units I have used have a signal that goes though the target and keeps going. When I find other signals I stand on the line and see if my shoulder points to my LRL. Sometimes I pick up natural signal lines that run in the four cardinal directions. Another thing that works for me is to stand on the signal line with the rods closed and drop one rod to my side. The remaining rod always points to the target.

My pinpointing improved when I chose a position that I could repeat everytime. When at the target I stand with my arms fully extended at shoulder height. What I did was put a dime under the front half of my heel. With my arms extended the rods were not fully closed. I trimmed the rods until they locked. Now when my body is in that position I know for a fact that the target is under the front half of my heel. Hope this helps...Art

I have not noticed any lines other than the ones to the target. The only time I see the 4 lines "compass points" is during my strobe tuning method.
