Go Up Go Down

Well, Spring is upon us here in Texas and the dump season is nearing an end.
The mosquitos will take the site over and the poison ivy will pop out.
But the heat and humidity will overcome even the most enduring of us.
We will retire for the season and wait for cooler temps soon but maybe,
if the digging gods are with us, we may get to get back out there one more time.
Ambient temperatures above 70 are just too overwhelming.
Roy won't go if the temps are above 60 much less 70.
He is one of the ones that has a systemic reaction to poison ivy and
has to wear heavy protective clothing that covers all his entire body.
Even in the Winter the roots possess the potential to cause problems.
We just got to be careful what roots we cut and how we remove them.
If we choose to get back out there this year we will post he results.
We just love to get out there and get just down right disgustingly nasty dirty!
Just love dat dirt stuff.

Well, here's to next time! Cheers you guys.

Yep!   Here in southern New Mexico, just a few weeks ago we were doing battle with frozen pipes and temps below zero.

This week we've had temps over 80f and climbing.   Undecided

I'm on 5 acres , been here close to 20 years.

Never seen a Rattler but tons of bull and Gopher snakes.  They come to the constant water I keep for the Quail.

Just 1/4 from here they have a pile of them.
