Go Up Go Down

Found the old dump area of the 1800's homestead back in the woods, found a lot of broken pottery and bottles, im going to spend some time digging the area, but in the meantime I did dig this bottle not broken, could use help with identifying marks on bottom, I have no clue  what they mean, it looks like an old medicine bottle of some sort!
Thanks, Erik of Tell City, IN.

sure thing upsmanpa, I got that link from bitburg the other day. This site is great, lots of good people looking to help. although sometimes it may take a few days usually a response isn't too far off.

It's possible that could be an ammonia bottle. I'd contact someone at the company who might know a little
more about the history (if there are any oldtimers around there) and see if adds up.

Thanks, I appreciate the info., and will research that. Any info on things I find helps me understand the area Im detecting and what happened in that time in history.
