i used to deal in antiques, and this appears to be an English transferware design, they were often in blues, mulberry, black and other colors, common from 1830-1880

I dont know about the piece but it would make a real neat pendant piece to wear on a necklace. break it to size and shape you like  then You can get some copper tape solder and go to work there are alot of tutorials om internet on how to do it.
