i would like to try beach hunting with my bh 505,is it worth a try and if so has anybody got any tips.

I know it will work on the dry sands but you may have to GB real good and turn down the sense over the wet sands.

If you learn your machine, any detector will work in any conditions except, of course, completely underwater. But then, some do work that way.

Learn your machine. That's the answer to successful treasure hunting. No amount of questions here are going to make a difference.
