I was considering a budget pinpointer, but I dont want to buy something twice. The BH pinpointer is like $40....

So, I guess, when in doubt.... ask.

What are your impressions on this model. Pros/Cons? I've never used one before so I dont really know what to expect. I'd like something that is able to pinpoint small jewelry items as well as coins.

Any input is highly appreciated.

Hi

I was going to buy the BH pinpointer  found a web page that listed Harbor Freight Cen-Tech
model number 97245  $16.00 as good and if not better then the BH   I have used it for a month and a half works real good, distant from object not more the 2 inches, it has a light plus Harbor Freight has life time warranty on their products.
