Here is a Great Link I found today with lots of good Information . Why would Bounty Hunter discontinue their best machines , the Time Ranger and Land Ranger ? Do they have something new out that is much better ?
The best feature to have on any metal detector is a numerical target ID or "VDI" . I have only glanced this webpage link , If I am right it seems that this website is from North Dakota . I am in a hurry today so other moderators can add or correct my work here if needed .

It will be awesome to examine these discontinued machines now !! A lot of new and old technology combined , for VLF design and or study  projects .

By the 8th revision you would figure they got all the bugs out . But they did not . The 8th revision was dated 4-25-97 . I believe they had more revisions . Like 11 .

But the good news is , it is better to study/dissect and build a prototype from revision 8 than build a circuit from the first [rev.1] off the assembly line !!  Next , I would like to see the circuit board of the Land Ranger . Now that these models are discontinued we may see more technical stuff released a little at a time  .  :Smiley   Wink
