Since nothing has been posted yet on this new Forum  on how to file Gold or mineral Claims in the United States . I will start a new topic here of information and links on how to file Claim forms , also any shortcuts and tips on BLM "location claims" , fees ..etc , etc...on a state by state basis !! PLEASE , If anyone else has PDF claim forms for any state in the U.S. you can post it here . Or anyone with related experience in "Securing a Gold or mineral claim" .......Thunting.com can be your first place to get your claim started or To guide you in the right direction . So I hope some other members contribute here also . I am personally seeking to find information on   "Filing  procedures" for the Southern Nevada and Southern California Areas........Here is a link to start this new Subject .

Thank-You........ Great......Eugene

Here I found a few great maps which will help to locate legal areas for Metal Detecting  and or Gold prospecting .... Remember ,  Department of Defense or Military Land is a Restricted area !! I will try to find better maps later . But the areas in Yellow are the best spots . Green areas require Permission . State by State maps are available . Next I will try to post BLM permits for mining/prospecting claims , I hope !!!  Waveing...............................Eugene52

This site list all known mining claims!

Open site and click on claim maps!  Navigate like you would in most map programs!

Tells you what is claimed, were it is, area, and locations!  Owners and the Lot! Crazy

GPAA is good!

But this program can stop you from stomping on someones ground or trying to file on top of another claim! Shocked

Many gold clubs are out there.

Did you know you can file a Placer claim on top of a lode claim?

Agree and do the same!   I have a place I go that is open, and no one has messed with it as of yet.

I have no Ideas of placing a Claim on it.    It is open at this time but I don't want the paper hassels for what little bit that is there to get.

Best I did a few years ago was 1/4oz  ...   Most of the time you just get some color but it sure is fun to show people .!!!

I know people that scarf up old claims that don't get maintained and are lost!

You Just never know what comes up.

Fail to pay the Maintenance fees and or keep documentation clean and you will loose it.
