They had a sale on the long sleeve Henley shirts and short sleeve too so bought a bunch of them and a bunch of other stuff all on sale  Shocked  Grin  Grin  Grin if i had a couple of grand I could spend it all right there !!

Well, layers isn't the right term.  But go in and discriminate everything out except coins and silver...thus the "silver layer".  On my Goldbug, it's a numeric value of above 70.  Then I drop down to let in signals bewteen 40 and 69..this is the pull tabs and gold ring layer.  Then come back if you want to and accept everything from 0 to 39 which is all your iron stuff.  It took me about 1 1/2 hours to cover a busy area of about 400 square feet today and I still didn't get all the pull tabs and potential gold rings.  But I can go back now tomorrow and finish up in the 0 to 60 range.  Actually gold rings and old tabs ping at exactly 61 on my Goldbug.

I can do the same thing using my Bounty Hunter, the dscrimination knob, and real samples I keep in my backpack.  Find the coins and silver, go back for the tabs and rings, go back again for the iron.
