In the 60s they use to use chevy V8s and then they bought out their own V8s, in 253ci and 308ci and they have about the best oiling system ever put in a motor.

I know the New Camaro's are Built on the Commodore/ Monaro Chassis with the Big motor.

To me they seen to be a Bit of British Vauxhall/Opel which is German and the other half seems American,, GMC Borrowed the Holden Monaro's Chassis to use in the Chevy Camaro and it handles like a Dream because it has an independent Back end  and it goes like a Cut Snake.

I have owned a few of them in the past but I always went back to ford, I like the for FMX and C6 Autos and the Top Loader 4 speeds, I had a Mr Gaskit Vertical Gate Shifter on mine, Where you have to lift a leaver to change down and it has a separate Reverse leaver,
