Going up US-41 from Venice, FL tomorrow for 1700 miles! Actually going to fly this run. Will be looking for some of those Yooperlite rocks I've been reading about.

Finally back home from the mountains and Gatlinburg and pigeon forge TN.
Mountains are full of snow and beautiful fall colors. Had a great Birthday and 4 day mini vacation , seriously put a lot of time in the hot tub. Was too cold and ground too steep to do any detecting where we were.
Hope y'all had a great weekend also.

I'm I confused or what ?  Let me see if I have this right.   You drove up in the mountains, rented a Snow Bound Cabin and called that fun ?  And had a Good Time Huh?? 

You could have done all that in your RV and spent the money on Toys, Detectors, Boat Stuff, or even Beer ?

Our cabin wasn't in the snow.  Grin
We spent part of our in the national park looking for Black Bear and Elk and Deer etc.
Visiting my wife's families old homesteads before they were kicked off their land in Cade's cove to create the national park. And we visited the family cemetery etc.
Then went to Margaritaville at the Island in pigeon forge and the Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg spent one day on all the rides etc up and down the strip.
And went to Christmas place to see Santa.
So it was a great time.
