BA u know they make a window tint film now specifically for the front windshield it supposedly reduces 60%
of the suns damaging rays and reduces the heat by 60% also. i just had the wifes car done all the way around. on the window tint.

Oh and it reduces the glare of on coming headlights also. and no it does not reduce the view out the front windshield u can barley tell it's there.

  That takes care of the steering wheel problem (more or less)....but you still need the astronaut's portable airconditioning unit to make it from the building to vehicles.
   Personally, I think I'd invest in a year round environmental suit before I'd invest in some of these "super fancy, high tech, going to tell you what color wig GW is wearing' at 3 meters " detectors some people want.   Of course, I'd have to make sure that had a jack at a convenient location to plug into the detector....otherwise the headsets are going to be a bear.

I Hear ya BA, it was $ 140 to do the pt cruiser all th way around, U know they also make a solar powered fan that sits on your window edge and circulates the air all day
