I hear ya AU, I watch the Barret Jackson Auctions and Cant believe the price some of the originals can bring ! Unreal Money, So much so that if u owned an original u would not want to drive it.

If u know ur Cobra history it was the 289 version that set all the original records to begin with .

Mr Shelby Knew his stuff coz the 289 weighed 467 Lbs and the 427 weighed just under 1200
so the power to weight  was better with the small block
