Karl, I got really wound up today coz I rang my truck insurance coz it is due on 6-2-11, and ther were gonna renew it for me
and then I asked them how much it was and baring in mind i got 12 yrs no claims discount and I expected it to go up 50 or $60,
From $630.77c to wait for it $1261.53 exactly 100% increase and when I asked why they said because of the area you live in.
and I told them that I have been here over 12 yrs they said it makes no differance ,then add on $95.00 for saffty check and
then add on the road tax $354.40c, Thats $1710.93c just so it can be used on the road, thats not including fuel.

Karl i'm selling the truck with the cost of all that and gas at $9.22 per gallon I just can't be bothered anymore.
In Oz I worked i got my reward, I work here and i pay 20% tax so on a $1000 that leaves $800 then when I spent that $800
I then get charged 20% VAT ( sales tax ) so I lose 40c in the dollar
and as for gas 67% is fuel Duty then they add 20% vat again, so only 13% of the cost of a gallon of gas is actually for the gas.
it this crap that starts civil wars.
Do you know we have a congestion charge so i can drive in to London and thats $16.00 per day

Hi guys, just came in for the day from helping put siding on my father-in-laws house. Way to windy to roof. Man am I outa shape!! Glad to hear you and Mrs. K are feeling better after the dr there Karl. Showing the floods on tv in Memphis. Man thats bad. AU? It would be very hard for me to sleep knowing insur. was that high. Theres just got to be a better way I would think?
