There are SO many grades and types that it would be hard to say., Typically about 2.5 times. But you can spend a LOT more without trying! Standing seam, 5v, Varying thickness, varying coatings, And various metals. 12 years ago I had a customer ask about a copper standing seam, and I got a quote of 650/square!  That was way too much for my customer, a good thing too because he might have come home and found his roof gone recently! Funny Although there are a lot of cheaper types out there.

I installed 44 squares of aluminum standing seam 3 years ago and the materials cost $25,000! That is over 550$/square in materials! If the roof is anything more than a straight run it will easily be more than 100/sq labor.

Nice roof , not flammable though!
Guess it is all in your expectations!

What Dave is saying is all correct...thickness etc...I'll find out what a sq. cost that we put on. I can tell you this...we had a well known business give us an estimate and it starteed at 32000,00 ffor roof and siding. Before we left they came down to 25000.00 material and labor. I'm pretty sure we're going to get it done for less than half that...
