Well....thats pretty much how I learned. Listening and watching the experts. Working in dealerships most of my teenage years watching the body men repair cars, I'd go in on weekends to use the body shop. That 53 chevy of my fathers, the frist car I ever painted and still have it here today. this is me sitting on the fender.

Well weren't u just a cutie !!  Grin  Grin  Grin  bet them little fat cheeks got pinched alot by the ladies  Grin  Grin so I take it u took that pic and made a clock face out of it.

Mask!  You just reminded me of a bad time.

In the UK,  the Aribs just took the Embasy in Iran.

They made us do a exersise for 96 hours.

Gas mask on first 36.

Not allowed to sleep until the 48 hour mark.

Walking Zonbies.

All they wanted to know was if we could push the right buttions if needed after so many hours.

All we did was communications!

After 36 documented hours, your beard had grown into the rubber of the M1a1 gas mask.  You was required to do the filter change every 4 hours requireing you to take the mask off for 30 seconds changing the filters. Don't ask me how but the mask became part of your face.

Taking it off was like tearing off your face.

OHHHHHH the good ol days!   Now they can change the filters without taking off the mask.   Gee I be that feels better.

Yep, a clock. Gave it to my father for fathers day one year. Better than that...(sorry for blabering on) My father called one day. Said he just saw the most beautiful 64 thunderbird he had ever seen at a swap meet. Said he was in line to check the price. When he got up to the seller the guy right before him bought it. Said he would have after finding out the price but to late. He sounded sad. Well...long story short, I got it 2 days later. Parked it in a place he would see it when my sons and I toke him out to eat for fathers day another year. He saw it...said look...that looks like the t-bird I saw at the swap meet. I sad...lets go look at it. opened the door and there was the card on the dash that said....Happy Fathers day dad. (you have 30 days to pay) That thunderbird sits in our shop as well today.....

Now that's a cool story, I haven't been around my Father that much till these last few years , being in the army and packing up and moving every 3 yrs or so doesnt allow one to do a lot with the family back home.

Cache, I stripped a 64 T Bird to the last nut and bolt and sand blasted it and put it back like the day it was made

and 65 mustang pony car rag top or maybe it was a 64 too and a 57 Plymouth Belvadier and 67 2 door Imparla

the Plymouth was the same as the car from the movie Christeen,

I did a whole lot more too

AU
