I remember reading about that one.

He had some road work done on his property.

Went over the road and found it.

I would sure think there'd be more but this was in 1975 or so?   The trip was ok. Came home just 200 under what we toke for 4 days. Not bad TILL the wife just told me awhile ago she ordered a new fridge on line while we where there. Huh???

Thanks for sharing with me that info. Homie, seems Australia is all I have been hearing about latly. If ever I have to go there with the Mrs. I'll have to check into transporting  my detector. I know I have read here some posts just about this subject.

Well Mate I'd surgest doing that flight with a stop over half way, coz I've done it 8 times and it's got a habit
of turning you in to a zombie for a week or two, I tried it once drinking the bar dry and I slept for 5 or 6 hrs
I don't recommend that Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I hear ya AU. A very long trip. They say 18 hours from here I think?  I think thats just why we have'nt gone yet. Wife keeps finding away out of it and if it comes right down to the wire, she'll probably send her son  As she taught him just about everthing she knows?
