Weird stuff going on here.   My well casing is melting back into the ground.    Not good..

Yep I know the area Well , probably too well ,  Grin Big Rock Poppa Rock and Dover and Bumpus mills and CLarksville etc,,
I was just at Ft.Campbell the other day for a dental apointment. ft.campbell / clarksville  it's a nice area but it has grown huge in the past 15 yrs or so.
every time we left and came back it would be totally differnt than before.

Just the quakes up on the Colorodo boarder.   Could be?

Top of casing was three ft above ground.  Now 2ft and has a major cavity around the sides 15ft deap. 

Well is 200ft deep.  Pump set at 180ft.  Water is still as checked at 116ft.  Being as dry as it has been I think the ground has just shrunk around the casing and fell in.

I don't know how deep the casing is.   Being as old as this one is I think it goes to the bottom or close.  New ones only case about the first 50ft.  Not Good.

Quakes? we had one here in S E Ks a week or so ago. Came from Okla. all the way to KC. We just installed a heat pump that day and fired it up. I thought it was the heat pump blowing up! Never in my life have I felt a earthquake. Was'nt bad but it sure is a scary feeling. Detecter was safe!
