Just checked the rain gauge, 2". Thats a lie!  Kiss must of emptied it. All we've had is rain, rain and more rain. I would need an underwater detector to hunt in this weather! But....today its sunny, WINDY as the dickens! Any birds here will be blown in your yard soon Karl if there not already.  Leafs are not turning colors. There just falling off the trees green. Just like there was no spring to speak off, winter might just roll right in? So, while the temp. will be in the 70's over the next few days we're headed to the lake with detector in hand for the last outing of the summer...  Angry   Will post pics of my finds when we return. But, you all know what aluminum cans look like right?

We're going to Dollywood. And the Great Smokey Mountains National Park.
Judging from the National Park photos online the fall colors ought to be great.
And the Aquarium.  Your welcome to meet us tthere Bill.

Otherwise you guys have fun at the lake.
I'm sure it will be a lot cheaper than our trip will be.
Cause you know who will be paying for the 9 of us.   Cry

Just saying, it felt like there was no spring here either. Went right from winter to HOT!! Now, hot to cold...no fall? No leafs here turning colors, just falling off the trees green.   Gonna have to pass this year on the Dollywood. But if your paying for nine, whats a couple (us) more next year!!  Smiley

   Reminds me of the time Dopler Dave out of El Paso said the computer model says Deming is getting drowned but I Don't Believe it.   All Road washed out  a mile around my home including mine.  It cost me $800.00 in Back hoe time to be able to get in and out again.    I guess they don't have windows were ever he is.  100 miles away I'm sure he would had seen the Clouds.
