Go Up Go Down

Well I had to go out to get some meat for winter so I took a few days and headed out with my father to do some Deer Hunting.  I got a nice 8 pointer with the Bow and my father got a nice big doe then I spent yesterday butchering the deer to stock my freezer.  I got about 40 pounds of meat left to grind for venison sausage tomorrow.  It is a good feeling to stock your freezer with meat you work for in such a way...Smiley

Have had plenty of venison but never tried any sausage. Sounds delish.

The 8 point was small just a 13 inch spread, my dad got the big one on thursday.  I mix pork with the venison when I make sausage
