Hi All,
With some help from admin I finally got back on the site.
I still cannont get on when I use my AOL account so I have a new address on Hot mail .com which is working fine, AOL freezes up and I have to shut down my computer.
Anyway....I have just returned from England "had a funeral to attend" also while there I got back onto my farm site about 7 hours of detecting didn't take any pix but did some vido just short bits, took still pix of finds later on.
Going out on Sat to a new 1812 site could be very interesting as a visit just before winter set in produced a very unusual find ....Skeleton of a complete horse I found it because it still had its shoes on, this a first for me, so far I have unearthed a "budgy (bird) a dog complete with its collar and now a horse there were no harness parts, after reading an account of a battle close to this area where an officer had his horse "shot out from under him" I wonder if it is the same horse??
I will send pix later, after Sat .........good to be back.....Johnnn
