Somebody complained about the language I used . I used the word  ,, dumb ,, instead of  ,, not being smart ,,  .  This was leading to a complaint to the administrators of this forum . My question is  : what is wrong about using the word  ,, dumb ,,  . Who could be so insulted by me using this word ?   Cornelius

Hello Cornelius,

I had received a complain from one of the authors in the Yamashita topic but did not follow up on it as I did not see any need to interfer. There has been said much in this topic, much which may be considered to be akward at best.

I would just say ro remember the old saying: Who can't stand the heat shouldn't enter the kitchen  Smiley

Christian . I am very well aware of the language I am using . It is never insulting . Just stating my opinion about whatever is posted . If it is a dumb statement , I state so .  ( ofcourse I could have use the words  ,, not smart ,, ) . But what is the difference ?   I can call somebody a liar , or I could say ,, he is not speaking the truth ,,  . What is the difference ?   Usually these complainers cannot winn an argument so they start complaining to the administrators of this forum . Just like running to the teacher when you were in school .  Cornelius
