Does anyone really know what the difference in finding something and finding a find?  The reason I ask is mainly of curiosity, because someone finds something could mean that the something was just stubbled upon.  And the finding a find would be that what you've research and prepped for, that you know that it hopefully there would be a possibility it would be in the area that you've looked at on a map.

I think you may need a good dictionary.
Very few people are going to admitted to doing research and making a find on a forum with 13000+ members.
If you go introduce yourself in the new member board after folks get to know you they may be more forthcoming with info.

Thank you for that.  But I was not intending for it to show that way.  Only to be able to see what some one would come up with.  Like would you walk around a ladder or under the ladder.  It was just a saying.

There are several full time treasure hunters here who will share info but will never show what they find how or where they found it. Even the guys who are mainly coin shooters don't show all there finds know one wants the IRS knocking on the door because they post a picture of a 10 grand diamond ring.

I totally agree with you on that.  Those  who shows their hand usually are the ones with nothing to show later on.   I also know that, yes there are those whom are out to take, take and take.  So I would never ask.
