Was not sure if all of you in the Western US had seen this story. Thought I would post it here. It talks about the government may possibly lock up over 13 million acres of land in the Western US. May be of some interest to some of you living out there.

Thanks.......I hate to say it, but there really isn't much that is surprising in the article (wrong-headed, maybe, but surprising, no).   I'd say more, but I'd mainly be preaching to the choir.  I will say that it would make more sense financially if the government sold or leased property on the open market rather than grabbing land from others, but that would seriously irritate those who think only the government can properly steward resources.

The government can't properly steward themselves....let alone 13 million more acres. Just my opinion.
