                            Did you see on the news where that young woman cashed in thoes 14 Golden Eagles coins from 1875 to 1927 for face value of $20 each ?  Could she have not knowen the true value of the coins or was she desperate to unload them ?
                            In the back of my mind I think it could be the case of Grandpa getting his stash of coins Hijacked by a relative ! Wise

Just saw your post. I saw the follow up where she was arrested when she showed up at the bank a 2nd time (not with more gold coins) and teller recognized her. She'd met a family via the internet, moved cross country to live with them, snooped around and found the coins. The owner didn't even realize his coins were missing. Dumb meets dumber through the web.  No no!
