Welcome abord!

The MXT is a great machine and should get your many good finds!

Using it properly will require some expirience and training but the results will be great.

Hot Rocks are stones that contain traces of metal or in other words mineralized soil. Just ignore them. Often it is traces of iron that they contain.

Good luck hunting,

Christian

Your machine is set for the ground you're detecting. If you come across a more mineralized rock or even a piece of ground- it will sound off. Be care and don't ignore it entirely. Could be good a sign.
