Sweet Sue started as a joke from Bullwinkle cartoons to the guy who invited me to join the old TTHN forum. The web was young, wild & ruthless and I'd been lurking behind the scenes telling him I'd be tied to the track if I posted on there. He said he'd protect me so I thought "alrighty, Dudley Do Right, I'll be your "Nell", but you have to save me from Snidely Whiplash & other villians". Melodrama  Wink  I tried to dump the handle, but SS I remain.   Smiley

I got mine because the lads at the clay pigeon ground considered me a useful shot with a shotgun

M' wife used to think it was funny to call me her Sugar Bugar, well thru the years, bout 20 or so she went to work at a bank, with bunch o tellers and lots o customers, i walk in , she introduces me as her Sugar Bugar to alla the people standin round, customers and all, so I had to correct them and make them drop the  Sugar part, because it made it sound to formal and sophisticated, and Bugar was more common, didn' want alla them people to think i was a stuck up person, and thats the rest o the story  Cheesy{alt}

Good stories guys.  I guess I got this one years back when I was playing guitar jamming with a couple of bands.  Went to set up an e mail address and wanted one that noone else had and came up with the name Stringfrenzy.  Just kind of stuck with me after that.  I never have the problem of being a duplicate name on a website if I use the "Stringfrenzy" name.  Truely original I guess.

Sure I've thought many times about switching it to something that fits better with my interests in TH'ing but just haven't really come up with much so this one has just kind of stuck with me.

My other main interest is barrel organs and street organs and in particular Dutch street organs. In other words mechanical music.
Well, draaiorgel is Dutch for street organ.
So consequently I decided to use that knowing that no one else on a THunting
or MD'ing forum would have the same nom de plume.

And they all lived happily ever after,
Ian & Eileen
