Hi zul32, thank you for your donation. I will transfer 1500 gold to your account upon confirmation of the donation by Christian. I think the donate page did not update to reflect your contribution.
P.S. I have not much gold left after deducting that 1500, so unless someone else wants to trade their gold for a donation to the website, I'm effectively out of stock!
UPDATE 5.35AM Fri 30th April: Christian has confirmed. 1500 gold sent to zul32. I hope other members who are not planning to use their gold will offer it for sale in return for a donation to the website.

Actually, I'll be putting out a challenge in a couple of days, just don't expect me to sell my gold so cheaply. Either that or I'll take Seldom's route and offer something for sale with the proceeds being donated to the forum. Look for it soon.

I agree BA will sale some of mine or all of it but not for that price. I do have a few more books I was going to put on flea bay but might offer them for donations again.

I wouldnt mind donating items to the store for some gold. How much could I get for a ancient Roman Coin? The store sales them for alot I would be happy with less then they offer. Any moderators want to make an offer of gold for an item donation?

Nice idea and the thought is appreciated, but we'd still need to convert the gold to cash since the vendors that keep this site up and running don't take our "gold" (though they might accept the real thing

). It might be an idea that we can work with, though.
