Thought this might be a good spot for this.  If not then hopefully we can redirect it. 

I ran across this link the other day, it contains different legends and stories of the ohio river and a little of states surrounding the ohio river.  Some stories seemed quite interesting.  I thought it was rather interesting about the roman coins that have been found around the ohio river area. 

Either way thought maybe some of the members close to the ohio river or wanting to visit sometime might find it interesting.

 :)pretty neat stories~i only read small portion~started drifting a little to far from reality w/hebrews here 1000yrs. before columbus,in my opinion.

the mighty ohio starts here in pittsburgh and is LOADED w/history,relics,ect..

great post string..i'm definetly going back to it when time permits.

I'll be the first to admit that some of the stories are a bit out there but then again seems like a lot of weird stuff comes from Ohio.

lol~yea,but a lot of good stuff too-pretenders,put in bay,goodyear z tires,wright bros.~i could go on all day but i'm pretty sure you know what i mean! crap-even pittsburgh national bank's headquarters is in ohio now!not to mention national city and others
