Go Up Go Down

When my dad was in the Army he was flying in the door gunner positon of a Huey helicopter over Camp Williams here in Utah. He spotted a reflection of some sort on a cliff and plotted it onto a map as they flew past.  On his off time, he hiked back into the site and free climbed the cliff, which he said was a stupid decision that almost cost him his life.  When he got near the top he found an eagles nest, and an old small bottle inside the nest.  On the side of the bottle is written..."TJ WADSWORTH."  He and I have researched the name on the bottle and found the bottle to be from the mid to late 1800's where TJ WADSWORTH had traveled around the West working as a doctor.

He opened the first medical clinic in Riverton, Utah and then later moved to my home town in Morgan, Utah.  So now I'm working on tracking his grave site down, and getting to find out where his decendants currently are, and seeing how much they know about their past history and this gentlemans past endeavors....it should be a cool little project, especially since it's so close to home.

That's the goal...i really want to find the ancestors of this guy and actually show them the bottle.  i know i would love it if someone just came up to me and had a piece of my family's distant past in their hands

considering that utah is the state where everyone's interested in family, i think that your efforts would be more than appreciated
i'm keenly interested myself in anything affecting / relating to generations prior to me
finding something like that would serve as a direct concrete palpable connection
