Same here, burnt mine up, it was a 12 volt model run by batteries. Portable, but a little weak. Thinking of replacing it with an AC model for more power. I can't believe how useful it was, all kinds of small jobs.

You mean those things have more than a 90 day warranty? darn-it?)#@! Being the tinkerer I had to take it apart. The brush holders were made of plastic and had distorted from being overheated. I saved the chuck and already pitched the rest. darn-it?)#@! Huh?

DONT TELL ANYONE BUT EVERYTIME THE MAGNETS START TO FLY OUTTA THE VENTS~I CLEAN'R UP & TAKE IT BACK TO WHERE I BOUGHT IT & SAY "THIS DONT WORK RIGHT" & THEY SAY "OK~GO GET A NEW ONE & BRING IT HERE & WE'LL EXCHANGE IT"SOMETIMES LIKE 8 MONTHS OLD.DID IT THREE TIMES.
NOT REALLY TRYIN TO GET OVER~BUT I FEEL THESE LITTLE BUGGERS SHOULD LAST LONGER THAN THEY DO..AT LEAST FOR THE MONEY YOU FORK OUT FOR THEM. IM LEARNING NOT TO OPERATE AT 10BILLION RPM'S~KINDA SLOW IT DOWN TO MAX OF 15K...ATTACHMENTS & MOTOR LASTS LONGER Grin
