Just wondered if you'd been out with your ace yet?
If so, how are you getting on with it?

We are hoping to swing tomorrow as we've now cracked how to pinpoint more accurately. It's taken us a good 3 months to get it, so we're looking forward to the summer with a real vengeance!

Yes i have had it out twice to a couple of tot lots,,works alot better then my bh3300 in the gravel and the pinpointing can be tricky like you say.I need to get the sniper now if the weather holds off i might be able to get a few more hunts in

I have saw a few guys  mod their machine  to completly go under water and some add better stands on them dunno if i will turn mine to an underwater machine but maybe put a better stand on it and i have been thinking about painting it black this winter

The showerproof console cover is black.
We're waiting for them to get over the pond, should have them for January.
I don't think they're that good for underwater, as on damp salt sand even with the sens turned way down still a lot of falsing.
