In this months British "Searcher" mag, I am the featured story.
"Searcher" is backed by the British Museum and the Society of Arkies in the UK..it is the only "relic hunting" mag to have this sort of acredition.
Many members of the UK Detector Net have sent me the military button and badges they dig up as they have little interest in them.
I use them for displays here in Ontario Canada...I put on the Town Of Whitby's annual Nov 11th Rememberance Day display as well as the annual "Camp X" display..and a few others.As an ex-Soldier myself..I feel we must remember those that wore our Countires Uniforms over the years..and I will not forget.
It is my understanding that I am the first person from North America to be featured in the mag.
One of the writers came over a few months back and interviewed me..I never thought the mag would do the story..on many relic hunting sites I am considered the "Military Expert" and ID many finds.
I am very happy about this.
