I'm planning to head into the South Fork of the Salmon for a lil mining activity as soon as the snow melts. I'm guessing you must have done some rafting up at Riggins?

Ran it in an oar rig once, but mostly open whitewater canoe. It's a major stream though... Handed me my lunch a couple of times. I'm used to running rivers that are maybe 100' bank to bank at their widest. The holes on the Salmon don't look so big from far away because it's 300' wide at some points, but they're monsters when you drop into them.

We'll probably have a couple of web cams set up... we usually do. I'll try to remember to post the link to the feed. Best bet is to just get your butt here and enjoy the party live
