Say folks, can anyone in here identify these two cool semi-precious coins? Hints, they are both in used (who knows what grade?) and circulated condition, both are silver, they are from two different countries, AND,  they represent the largest of one coutry's coins and the other of course, represents the smallest of that country's coins.  Both are vanishing almost as fast as the poor ol' Dodo bird did awhile back, Huh?  and for about the same reasons too Sad , greed. Bummer! Angry  Anyway, if ya'll ever come across any of either of these, for God's Sake Man, (or lady too  Embarrassed  of course ) don't let 'em slip through yer fingers, snag 'em quick. So what do you say  Huh?  let's hear the answers in here now folks, what ch'a got?

C'mon, You can do it, let's get that grey matter moving around in there... Cool

  *Little update*

It's been awhile since this was posted and nobody has even bothered putting in any kind of comment. Hmmm.  Huh? Thanx to whoever the 18 people were who even stopped by. To everyone else, sorry to have put up such a boring post...

Sorry it took you so long to see it doc, but why put a picture of rings on here, ( right after talkin' bout your bitties and biggies) in a totally coin featured post, it only gets everybody off topic real quick?   :Smiley  OB is the only one so far to even try and ID the 2 coins like I mentioned in the post. Huh?

Thanx once more Outback for updating my stats blurb on the visitors slash guests thingy as opposed to any of our regulars etc. I'm all cleared up now.  Smiley  Must have been the way I secretly hid the original post there, so nobody could find it, I guess? Smiley  Anyway, you got the Morgan o.k. Smiley   Of course, for the majorty of our forum members benefits, I'll fill in that, the Morgan is from the good ol' US of A . However ob, you're fairly far off on the Edward silver though... I was going to say what it is just now but maybe someone else in here may perhaps care to see what they know about this? At least now that this post has sort of been, revived again, let's give it a week or 2 before I say what the mystery coin is...

Any of you other Canadians got any ideas on this historical cdn currency?  Cool  Ooops, another little hint slipped out there...darn Wink

Smiley Hey Doc,  thanx for the well thought out reply there friend!  Wink Sorry to even have mentioned it really. It's just that sometimes it's good to try and keep the same sort of flow going that the original poster has tried to establish.  Cool Not always of course, but I know you get my drift, I'm sure, Docman. Wink Certainly did Not mean to scare you away from posting your fine pics on the forums dude, but you knew that too, didn't ya? So, again, great reply from a real good man!   Cool

OB, sorry man, strike 2!  Shocked

Be careful on yer next Guess there buddy outty...  Cool
Anyone else?

Larry

Hey Larry y'all,
Sorry if I upset ya an all by not replyin' to yer post.
My excuse is that I don't know anythin' about American or Canadian coins,
and no your posts are not boring, quite the reverse.I enjoy your writin' style it's fun trying  to sometimes de-cipher what yer sayin.
Hey man that's what it's all about, isn't it great to talk to each other hundreds and sometimes even thousands of miles apart.
Without this means of communication very few of us would know each other.
Well, better stop ramblin'.

Ian & Eileen HH.
from The Kingdom of Fife, Scotland.
