If the detector has been well cared for, then yeah, I'd say that is probably a good deal.  I'd pull the trigger on it if I wasn't already happy with the detectors I've got in my stable.

By the way, if you go over to our New User Introduction board and tell us a little bit about yourself, you'll probably get more responses---including responses from people who have actually used a V3.   I've got friends who have used them, but no personal experience with that machine.

      Never used one.    Having the Control Panel on top of the handle I would bet 100 to 1 I could Brake it.   The 22Khz interest me as a Prospector and Mini Miner.  I'll be keeping a Eye on this post.


   I don't like much computer Detectors.   I just want to here what is there and let my Primary Computer (BIOLOGICAL)  deal with it.  The human Brain has Never been Surpassed.    people seem to like the Instant Gratification provided buy there following Machines.
