Hi fellow
treasure hunters. I would really appreciate some creative feedback on an Irish treasure hunt experience I am planning for Boston using an online clue trail and real hidden treasure just like "National Treasure" or "The Da Vinci Code"
We held the pilot version on the Causeway Coast of Ireland with a $8000 precious bronze treasure horse. Contestants had to follow 9 online clues to reveal a secret 20 word message which if correctly interpreted would lead to the burial location of the treasure.
I appreciate a lot of the 'treasure hunting community' are used to metal detectors, however I was wondering how you would feel about this unusual combination of cryptic clues, riddles, history along with one off commissioned artworks?
The artworks are valued between $8000 - $20,000 depending on the hunt.
We are adding in 2 ways for players to strike it rich. If you can solve the clues you can either visit the location, retrieve a concealed container with a special code or alternatively you can place 'dig points' on a virtual aerial photograph. Or both of course.
We had around 60,000 page views on the website. 70% from USA
You feedback would be very much appreciated.
