I wish Mike would bump his thread by answering the questions I asked in posting #8.

Yes, of course I have found things through dowsing. No, I have not become wealthy by it, but that is no reason to assume it can't possibly work. I'm not a professional treasure hunter and I use the forbidden frequency generator equipment about 99% of the time. But I still add some dowsing in, usually right when I start I will do a sweep of the area. I don't think most non-users can not understand quite what I am talking about this scrying. I don't see any kind of visions pop up in my head. It's more like feeling warm sunshine on your skin. It makes your hair stand up like when you are in a steam room, lots of negative ions. It's like an electrical buzz sound like when you tune to a radio station but there is nothing being broadcast, just the swooshing sound as you tune by it.

Thank you for your response, Mike. My questions had nothing to do with wealth, though it would be nice to find valuable things by whatever means. I have only known one person in real life who practiced the art of scrying. He was a chap I worked for during my teen years, and was one of the kindest people I've ever been privileged to know. He used a bowl of silver containing distilled water.

Yes you are correct in saying that non-users find it hard to understand. Though my old boss tried to explain the process to me, I could never relate to it and through the passing decades I've pondered it from time to time. His dad had taught it to him, and that had been passed down from his grandfather. Maybe it's a family or bloodline thing? Anyways I hope you find good things with your talent.

As I tell people, my "talent" is to persevere when times are tough. I couldn't use a rod for the longest time. Maybe if you compared it to a paintbrush, a novice might be able to paint but they can't paint a "painting". So there is skill and art involved. And as I have said the most important is having control of your mental facilities so you don't block things out and you don't get emotionally involved with the outcome. You gotta be like a non-biased judge.

I've tried to explain to people how the rod I build works. The stabilizer arms allow the user to feel the balance sort of like a tightrope walker. This gives the user a reference point of balance. So the rod can show you the balance but the user has to do the part about not becomming emotionally involved. I just try to seperaste myself emotionally from the rod, sometimes I don't even look at it, just feel it. Of course my favorite stance is to hold the rod pointing out to my side instead of straight ahead. Much more sensitive for me.

Ah, but that's the legitimate way to do it.

Where have you been hiding? Off on some treasure project? Good to see you back again.

You can try to do a soft focus about two inches past the tip of the rod when you are doing a sweep. I try to imagine there is a window there sort of like looking through a telescope backwards.

Good one! now that was good...Does this count as dowsing? I swallowed a penny and concentrated until my weener pointed at a tin can.  As I get better at this I will post my technique with pics of my finds.
ps. I kill myself Grin

That's just sweet justice for you, Paul. You've done that to me, mate.

I now keep monitor cleaner and a soft cloth near to hand.
