Sometimes I feel like I have transcended into a "flight" in the magnetic fields. If you have watched a soaring bird tip it's wingtips feathers up to spill off the air, this is what I feel like my left arm and hand are doing when I get on a target. My arm rises a bit and my fingers spread out and make what I had considered to be a contorted twist. I think now I am "flying" it.

Just ocurred to me some people are going to associate this with witchcraft broom flying. Maybe it is similar.

My wife metal detects with me when her schedual allows. So I asked to borrow her gold class ring. I took it into the yard and buried it. I then came in and asked her to go rip a branch off the tree and dowse for her ring in the yard. We immediatly entered negotiations for new sleeping arrangemnts, meals, and such. We dont dowse anymore.

A lot of people talk about using a Y-rod and feeling it pull down when over water. Other materials might cause the rod to feel it lifting. At least for me, a gold target give me the lifting sensation that I somehow feel in my arm like a bird feels the lifting air on it's wings. This must be some primordal trait like maybe we evolved from flying lizards or something, or fish. If you are familiar with the birds wings, they twist up the wingtip feathers when they are maximizing lift, going very slowly. Of all the years I flew hang gliders and paragriders, I guess the action is closer to using the brake on the paraglider. I've always said a target reminds me of a fountain or the flux lines on the end of a magnet. It just so happens a thermal column of lifting air is almost identical shape. Here again, all this is my sensing the subtle energies but not through the normal five senses channels.
