Sorry I don't have a Luger. I am going to an auction this weekend that has one. So hopefully I will soon. They also have a nice broom handle I would love to have.
Heres my plinking rifle. I like it cause its simple, shoots shorts, longs, and long rifles. Its also very accurate and has very fine sites on it making it easy to put on your mark.

Cool Beans!   That was the first rifle I had as a kid.

That's a Squirrel Popper there for sure.

My Mom got a 69A back in 1948. Its just like this except it has a five round clip and the safety is off to the side on the right and it is self-cocking when you charge it. Our whole family learned to shoot on that rifle. When my Mom passed away I ended up with it. I got this 67 A to teach my kids to shoot and general gun safety. I like the fact that theres only one round at a time in the gun and that you have to pull back the bolt plunger to cock it. i got the 67 A for $117 to my door off Gunbroker. I see them regularly for $175 plus. I took those pics right after I got it. Since then I cleaned the metal with "Flitz". When I took the wood off the metal finish bluing looked brand new under the wood. Then I took "Old English" Original Formula and wiped the furniture down several times. The gun now looks 85-90 % of the original condition.

Well on this model just working the bolt does not cock the gun. You have to work the bolt action then manually pull the plunger back to cock the firing pin.
