Has anyone out their purchased a CZ-3d within the past 8 months?  I would like to get your opinion on this detector on how well it is performing?  Ive heard both good and bad things compared to the older CZ-3D's but I would like to here from someone that has bought one and been using it.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I don't own one but I sure would like one. I've heard at Dankowskis forum that when FT first acquired Fisher the quality of the CZ3D wasn't the same as the older models when they were still made in Los Banos but now they've got their quality control straightened out and the new ones are back to the pre 1021 specs.
