I gave away two 1/4 C diamonds .     No one wanted to mess with them. Tongue

Ever the bargin hunter  Wink

You read how they take ashes/carbon apply enough time and pressure...you have uncle ned on your finger. Theroretically, you should be able to apply enough time and pressure to two small diamonds and make them one larger diamond?   Shocked

Cheers,
Barb

Barb, makes sense to me. It should take half as long if you start with two and make one, Right?

Exactly how does one find diamonds with a metal detector?  Were they mounted in a ring or something when you found them, or did you just stumble on them?  Inquiring minds want to know!

By the way, very nice find!   Pray

If you want to sell them buy rings from a mail order jewelry finding supply house and set the stones yourself It is easy enough to do. I think you will get more for them in that way. Especially if you get a popular setting. You may also have to learn how to resize them to fit the customer. This is a bit more complicated but there are easy instructions on the net.  I got some synthetic rubies cheap and this is how I sold them. The settings cost more than the stones but the price more than doubled when they were together.
