Thank you for the information and pictures. What you found is amazing and beautiful. I tried looking up calcyte mine information in California and cannot get any information. This looks like such an adventureous trip. I can't imagine how hard it is to get to this place. What a great find! Thanks for sharing your info!  Audrey
