It sounds MOST excellent! 60 grams from 20kg of material less 15% silver equates to a potential of 2550 grams of Au/tonne.

When I first saw your post and noticed the UAE flag, I got a bit excited, because it reminded me of one of my customer's experience back in 2005. He is from Saudi Arabia and lives in Riyadh. His experience was nearly similar to yours. An old man from a location west of Riyadh was introduced to him by his relative for funding and together they started to extract and process gold very successfully. It is every prospector's dream to find such soils very rich in gold. I look forward to seeing your photos!

we have decided to leave the fine sand aside till we get wave table

You do realize that a wave table is no better than an an experienced panner, right? It's just faster and not by much. You can do the same job with a gold pan and a few years of experience.

Hobbyist you are right it is promising results, looking forward to getting about 1 kg worth ready to through into the furnace.

And Xavier i am sorry i have still not gone onto the location yet, but i will definitely upload images from the bluish grey clay, and also i have a 3 kg metamorphic rock glistering with beautiful gold which i asked the old man not to crush it.
Golddigger you are right, but like you said its faster, thats why we put it aside as there are many more alternative locations with better yield in soil and rocks for us to process.

last night the old man's son told me of a location where he couldn't check if it had gold, since he had friends with him and as you would understand the laws regarding the mining is very immature in our area.
So we are planning to go to that location today to discreetly check, ill take pics hopefully i will try to upload the images today for you guys to help me out as well.
Cheers

hello every one,
Sorry for the delay in uploading the images as the site was down and i was also busy elsewhere.

I have uploaded 2 blue clay pics, 2 metamorphic rock pics and the plate you see is the cons i already put through the blue bowl.
we managed to get 1 full crucible (1kg) of pure gold from around 80kg of blue clay which took us about 4-5 days to process all.
The 1kg of cons has been processed purely from blue clay. we have not touched the metamorphic rock yet (^.^)

We will be trying to melt the cons in about 3 hours time, i am waiting on the guy to bring the cons back into the city to see how much of pure gold we have and not pyrite or micas.
If you see the black plate and think is black sand but its not black sand as my camera is not the best in the world, what you see in plate that is black in the sun is golden glister as you move it around.
Wish me luck, ill upload the images of the melted ingot if i get it out lol.

You have got to be one of the world's biggest optimists, mate. If you have to move it around to see it, that's not gold. That's black sand with a few flecks in it.

Hey GD,

I guess you were right at the end of the day and i feel like  Idiot.
i put it into the induction furnace and it only heated the crucible to a hot temp but not melt.

when the cons were in the bluebowl it was yellow so i assumed it was gold. when its dry it was black with glisters inside.
How do i get the gold flakes off the black sand?
Please help, as i was about to contact my furnace company and have a fields day with them, but now good thing i didn't make myself sound stupid to them.

And now i am world's biggest pessimist.

Hope you guys can point me to the right direction. what to do with this black sand >_< please see above posts to see my cons.
Thanks

Black sand is sometimes magnetic and you can use a magnet inside of a jar to remove the sand. Put a magnet (strong one) into a plastic or glass jar and sweep it over the concentrates. The black sand, if it is magnetic, will stick to the jar and leave the gold behind. If it's not magnetic, you'll have to pan some more. It really is a hard process.
